Getting to Puglia
Travel
Two airports serve the Valle d'Itria and both are about the same distance from the masseria. Book early: late May is high season.
Flights
From the UAE, connect through Rome, Milan, Istanbul, Munich or Zurich into Bari or Brindisi. Bari usually has more connections; Brindisi is handy if you're staying towards Ostuni.
Add your flight to your RSVP so we can plan transfers.
Driving
If you're staying longer, a car makes day trips easy. Country lanes are narrow and lined with dry-stone walls, so a smaller car is kinder.
Old town centres are ZTL (restricted traffic) zones with camera fines. Park outside the walls and walk in.
Shuttles & transfers
If you need a shuttle or an airport transfer, contact us and we'll get it sorted for you. Otherwise, we recommend renting a car.
Accommodation
Where to stay
Most places to stay in Puglia are masserie: old fortified farmhouses, now restored as hotels, often set in their own gardens and olive groves.
Coming soon We're arranging special rates at some of these hotels and will add them here. Airbnb is also a good option, especially for families or groups.

What to wear
Dress code
What to wear for each celebration. The rest of the time, wear whatever you're comfortable in. Days are warm, evenings are cool and there's lots of stone underfoot, so bring a layer and shoes you can walk on gravel in.
